Program description:
The aim of the program is to enable students to obtain proficiency in English, to acquire critical and analytical skills developed through the study of the English Language, Literatures in English as well as the social, cultural and political history of the English-speaking world, and to provide a broad educational experience, making it possible for graduates to choose from a wide range of career opportunities including teaching, the media, the tourist industry, diplomacy, business and administration.Literatures in English as well as the social, cultural and political history of the English-speaking world, and to provide a broad educational experience, making it possible for graduates to choose from a wide range of career opportunities including teaching, the media, the tourist industry, diplomacy, business and administration.

Entrance exam description:
The two main aspects of the selection procedure are the professional educational results and the English language proficiency. After evaluating the documentations and previous educational results (they need to be above 60%), a professor from the Faculty of Humanities conducts a Skype interview with the applicant, which aims to to check his/her motivation, language skills and professional knowledge. The decision about the admission is made based on the applicant’s educational background and the result of the interview.

Career opportunities
Graduates are able to work in business and governmental organizations, media, publishing, tourism, diplomacy, etc. Graduated students holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American studies are eligible for admission to the English studies MA and American studies MA programs.
