These include the investigation on the molecular mechanism of physiological cell death, development of adipose tissue and obesity, innate immunity, autoimmune processes, allergy, stem cell biology, chromatin structure, reproduction of retroviruses, phagocytosis, protein-protein interactions, epigenetics, proteomics, bioinformatics and molecular modelling. Progress in a research programme is assisted by a thesis committee assigned to each PhD student. Teachers of the school give altogether about 30 PhD courses every year, almost all of them are in English. Research groups working in the school have outstanding grant supports and excellent infrastructure.
