About the Programme
Phyiotherapy is a very popular and highly sought-after profession worldwide. Physiotherapists can work in prevention, health care and rehabilitation fields.
The program is based on 7+1 semesters: 1-4 semesters beside others consist of basic subjects, professional theory and practice. 5-7 semesters include applied clinical physiotherapy knowledge and the last semester consists of different supervised clinical placements for developing professional skills. Being a practice-oriented profession the practical courses take place in small groups. During the study time students have the opportunity to get acquainted with special complex therapeutic methods.

Who should apply?
The program is intended for students who plan to pursue a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in English by completing this four year long course.

Application requirements: Submitted online application form, Secondary school certificate, a demonstrated proficiency in English (B2 level or equivalent TOEIC, TOEFL IBT, TOEFL PBT, TOEFL CBT, IELTS). An online written entrance examination and an online motivational interview.

Career opportunities

Most qualified physiotherapist either work within the National Healthcare Provider or the private sector within hospitals, or out in the community within home care providers. To join a home care provider for this a physiotherapy license number and at least 3 years of practice is necessary. Other setting for physiotherapists may include private companies, sports centers, wellness and spa resorts or private practice.

Physiotherapy is on the upward trend in Hungary, it is one of the most popular professions in the country. Due to many people in need of physiotherapy, this profession has become much sought-after in the world.

Physiotherapists work in prevention, health care and rehabilitation fields. Can be specialized to different fields of health care such as musculoskeletal problems, neurological issues, cardiopulmonary diseases. Physiotherapist deals with different age groups, from infants to elderly, therefore this profession is highly versatile.
