Felvételi követelmény

Gimnázium / középiskola (vagy magasabb szintű) A jelentkezési dokumentumokat a következő nyelveken tudjuk fogadni: angol / magyar. A iskola gyakran tud megfelelő nyelven készült indexmásolattal/kreditigazolással szolgálni. Amennyiben ez az Ön esetében nincs így, szüksége lesz hivatalos fordításra az eredeti dokumentum hivatalos másolatával együtt. Végül az egyetemre magával kell vinnie a bemeneti követelmények teljesítését igazoló dokumentumok eredeti példányát.

Nyelvi követelmények

The applicant’s English skills are assessed in the admission interview conducted online or in person. Language certificates as proof of sufficient English language skills are not required, but recommended. Applicants must meet the following criteria (and demonstrate them in the interview): they should express themselves in standard spoken and written English (B2 level – IELTS min.: 5.5). Sufficient English language skills are a prerequisite for admission to our English Study Programmes. Applicants with weaker language skills have the possibility to take an intensive language course at the University of Pécs.

Egyéb követelmények

A motivációs levél a jelentkezés kötelező melléklete. It is a brief description of your explanations why you are particularly interested in applying to our faculty, your motives, why you want to study the chosen programme etc. No required form but keep in mind that your letter of motivation may be discussed with you during the online interview. Szükség van megfelelő portfólióra. Applicants need to present evidence of creative ability and commitment to the field of architecture in addition to having strong academic credentials. The interview and portfolio requirements help the faculty assess strengths in these more subjective areas. Both the interview and portfolio requirements must be met for the application to be considered. Áttekintés

This programme covers engineering design, structures and construction management. Education takes place in cooperation with other design and engineering professionals. Students are expected to have good visual skills, a grasp of mathematics and the history of architecture. The programme focuses on the responsibility of the architect in building design, the detailed development of building systems and team work. This degree course aims to give students a clear understanding of the key contexts of architecture and the built environment, the design relationships among people, architectural space and the environment – through live projects and contemporary situations. It comprises of lectures, workshops and studio design work. The Institute of Architecture Engineering has contacts with a vibrant national and international community made up of leading architects and related researchers. Students will engage in perspective projection, drawing, computer graphic design and model building. Graduate students can further their architectural skills at a master level at our faculty.

Evaluation of the student is fully based on his/her performance and it gives a
formal feedback of his/her progress in work. All courses and laboratory work end
with a grade.

The grading system generally used by Hungarian higher education
institutions is the following:
•The highest grade is 5 excellent.
•Grade 4 is good.
•Grade 3 is satisfactory.
•Grade 2 is a pass.
•Grade 1 is a fail – the course must be repeated.
