In THE's ranking of disciplines, the university is ranked between 201-250 in the category of Clinical and Health and 251-300 in the field of Life Sciences. According to QS World University Rankings 2024, Semmelweis ranks between 101-150 in Anatomy & Physiology, 201-250 in Medicine, 251-300 in Pharmacy & Pharmacology and 281. in Life Sciences and Medicine.
